“A painting is never really finished, it jut tops in interesting places.” -Robert Henri
Seal Cove, Maine has a special place in Sharon’s heart. A dozen or more friends drop everything to get together here and paint, paint, paint. In the evenings, the critiques of the days’ paintings help everyone to strive for their best and learn from the days struggle. Working with other artists helps immeasurably to stimulate the creative process and to discuss why we do the things we do. Plein air painting deals with the ever-changing light and shadows in the environment that eventually forces a painter to create something new.
