Braving the Storm – Bird Oil Painting

This is a chickadee painted on a 12” x 12” linen panel. I think if the chickadee had a choice, he would not hang out in a snowstorm. The limited color pallet gives some quiet atmosphere to the forest and it seems to make a very calm oil painting.
