Snow on the Mountain in Fall – Plein Air Oil Painting

This plein air oil painting of our western Colorado mountain peaks were painted during a plein air competition at the Ridgway, Colorado paint out, put on by Rick Weaver at the Dennis Weaver Memorial Park. That year, more than 20 artists were playing their trade here trying to capture the fall colors! What artist wouldn’t love to paint the infamous Mount Sneffels of Colorado?
